NeoPhoto 2.0 is now completely free software. It doesn't contain any spyware, desktop adware or other evil. NeoPhoto development, however, does cost real money. To help fund it's continued development, we have included a few Google ads in the default set of theme templates we ship with the software. We've tried to make the ads integrated with the themes. If you would like to see NeoPhoto development continue maybe you'll consider using some of the default themes for your photo websites.

If you don't want to use any of the default themes, you can create your own templates free of any ads and add them to the list. Details on how to create your own theme templates can be found in the Template Writers Guide.
